This tool, implemented at Publications Metro France, optimizes prepress workflow by offering a large number of functionalities, such as:
Furthermore, a plugin has been specifically developed for InDesign, adding numerous features: as an example, one can duplicate pages that would be identical from one edition to another, thus avoiding work duplicates.
And now ?
Xmount project is still on track ! Since I took over the intellectual property rights, a new HTML5 / CSS3 interface has replaced the aging Flash client, and many new features have been added.

Automated PDF newspaper layout and generation from RSS feeds
Used to face problems with prepress workflows automation, I decided to challenge myself by creating a tool that would produce, from a simple RSS feed, a newspaper with a design close to our usual dailies, 100% automated.
Left to technical demonstration status during long time, I took this project over to make it a real achieved product, and early 2017, RSSnews was born:

- Looking for articles from a user-supplied RSS feed
- Extracting full versions of those articles
- Positioning and calibration of each article, for layout optimization on 3 columns
- Creating the corresponding PDF, in A4 size

This website was requested by the dance department of Paris 8 University, which was eager to have a platform intended to students and researchers, presenting their work, and offering a large library of documentations.

- Its original design, which had to be implemented in response to the requirements of the artist who imagined it.
- Its back office, intended for internet neophytes, which had to be as simple as possible despite of database complexity.
- Its library of documentations, widely composed of PDF files, which also had to allow audio and video files, for which it was necessary to set up a streaming solution.

Free online poker site
This project was initiated by Publications Metro France, which wanted to ride the wave of online poker to increase its online community, and despite a very small team, the site was launched after a period of only 6 months !
With more than 10,000 registered users, it has earned us press articles, as well as partnerships with the famous online gaming platforms Unibet and Bwin.

BounceMaster
Javascript game developed with Phaser 3 framework
First developped with Flash (ActionScript 3), this game was then converted to Javascript (Phaser 3 framework). Remembering the old-school spirit of '80s and '90s video games, BounceMaster will take you in stages where you horizontally guide a ball that bounces endlessly from top to bottom.
The objective is quite simple but effective: in each level, catch all keys to open the door that will lead you to the next floor.
Besides being fun to play, this title presents various technical interests:

- New levels are extremely fast to create, since they are generated from a simple data array. It remains to be imaginative...
- The OOP allows each object of the game to be self-managed (collisions, movements, sounds, etc.), and allows easy implementation of new items and features.
- Videos and sounds integration, as well as movements, animations, and events management, make this title a good technical showcase.

Pathfinder.as / Labyrinthe
Implementation of A* search algorithm in a playful context
Pathfinder.as is an AS3 (Flash) class I developed, employing the A* search algorithm, which is widely used in artificial intelligence, so that an object can find its way into its environment.
Using this class, the little Flash game Labyrinthe, in which 5 characters are looking for their way out a maze, demonstrates the power of this algorithm. Their initial position is randomly generated, and you have to guess which one will be the first to reach the exit.
This class has the advantage of being able to be exploited in any other AS3 developments, saving hours of coding to who wishes to integrate this kind of feature.

Project management intranet portal
The company Op'team, whose core business is to provide trainings in projects management, wanted us to develop its own intranet platform, Openteam, a tool which allows to apply the theory acquired, in real projects.
Having France Telecom R&D as main customer, the project, which worked with IIS, an Oracle database and some Flash modules (actionscript), has undergone numerous technical evolutions and some graphic revisions.
Among other things, Openteam included features such as:

Unfortunately, in lack of more customers, the project was discontinued.
Today, it seems Op'team stopped their activities, but you can still check their website on Internet Archives opteam.fr.
